Duality is constructed using a technique known as brick-laying to create a piece of furniture that is one singular, continuous form. The table's curved base section and legs are done with brick-laying, and the 2 top sections of the table are joined together with a large tenon. The piece is made without the use of digital technology, and the final form is shaped by hand with various power tools, hand tools, and abrasives. The table won first place at the 2015 Design in Wood competition in Del Mar, CA in the category Contemporary Woodworking: Funiture.
