"I am a furniture designer and craftsman from San Diego, CA. I have been woodworking nearly all my life, and began pursuing an education in furniture design in 2008 at Palomar College (CA). I received a B.A. in Applied Design (emphasis in wood) from SDSU as well as a B.S. in Business Administration (marketing) in 2013.

In 2014 I was hired as an adjunct professor at Palomar College in San Marcos, CA, where I teach fundamentals of woodworking, machine woodworking and furniture, an introduction to veneer, and advanced veneering.

I am inspired by form and process. When I design a piece, my design usually begins with a specific form I want to make or a technique I want to utilize to make something. My favorite pieces are ones where I didn't understand how to make the piece when I first conceived it. "
